10th June 2009 - The Graveley Play Park, Official Opening.
The Graveley play park which has recently been upgraded with some new equipment is proving popular with the youngsters of the village.
Today saw the official opening of the park. The occasion was marked with the Chairman of North Herts District Council (NHDC), David Miller cutting the ribbon. Also in attendance were officers of NHDC, WREN, Alan Lines Chairman of the Graveley Parish Council and Lisa Massey (Head Teacher) and Tara McGovern (Deputy Head Teacher) from Graveley school, as well as a group of children from the Graveley school to test and show off the newly installed play equipment.
So next time when your at a loss of what to do on a sunny afternoon why not pop along and try out the new equipment. For those that are unsure of where the park is, you access the park at the bottom of Ashwell Close. see map.
